The queer holiday rom-com Happiest Season is out on Hulu this Wednesday, Nov. 25. The film stars out actors Kristen Stewart, Aubrey Plaza, Dan Levy, Victor Garber, along with out co-writer and director Clea DuVall. Stewart plays a lesbian who spends the holidays with her girlfriend’s family, only to find out that her girlfriend has not yet come out to them. Happiest Season captures the range of emotions tied to wanting your family’s acceptance, being true to yourself, and trying not to ruin the holidays. Happiest Season: Wednesday, on Hulu.
The reboot of the classic 90s TV show Saved By the Bell premieres this week on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The modern reimagining follows a new cast of characters through the halls of Bayside High, with familiar faces from the original series also in the mix. The new series features out trans actress Josie Totah as Lexi, a sharp and witty cheerleader who is the most popular girl in school. Saved By the Bell: Wednesday, on NBC’s Peacock.
Out trans actress Alexandra Billings makes her first appearance as a recurring character in the third season of ABC’s The Conners this Wednesday, Nov. 25. In a multi-episode arc, Billings plays Robin, a no-nonsense, but fair transgender woman who becomes a friend and mentor to Darlene. The Conners: Wednesday, on ABC.
