The Black Queer Creative Summit is a groundbreaking event dedicated to empowering, educating, and training Black LGBTQ+ creatives across multiple sectors of the media industry. Through access to industry support, insider knowledge, and resources, the Summit helps participants bring more authentic stories to life — and into the world.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Black Queer Creative Summit returns to Los Angeles Thursday, September 18 – Sunday, September 21. After an incredible launch in 2023, this one-of-a-kind experience is back to champion and connect the next generation of Black LGBTQ+ creatives across five dynamic sectors of media.

About the Program

The Black Queer Creative Summit spotlights, celebrates, and nurtures the professional growth of Black LGBTQ+ creative leaders. Through keynotes, fireside chats, workshops, and community gatherings, the Summit fosters a powerful pipeline for the next generation of storytellers, innovators, and changemakers.

Over three unforgettable nights and two transformative days, Black LGBTQ+ creatives from across the United States will gather for immersive programming all led by leading industry professionals across respective media fields. The experience is designed to illuminate career pathways, expand professional development, and build lasting community.

60 attendees will be awarded full scholarships covering travel, lodging, and registration for the weekend. All other accepted participants will have the opportunity to attend by covering a conference fee.
