Now in its 6th year, WIO! has become a vital space for storytelling, artistry, and healing. The Annual Campaign will help secure resources to expand programming, strengthen community partnerships, and sustain WIO!’s mission to challenge stigma and amplify the brilliance of people living with HIV through playwriting.

The kickoff Celebration will honor WIO!’s powerful alumni community and invite supporters to join in the next chapter of impact. The evening will feature music, appetizers, and drinks, alongside a special 10-minute staged reading from a play by 2024 Alum Bridgette Picou. Tickets are available for both in-person and livestream attendance, making it possible for community members everywhere to join in celebrating and uplifting people living with HIV through playwriting.
“Write It Out! is about more than just writing—it’s about claiming space, sharing truth, and celebrating the fullness of people living with HIV/AIDS,” says Founder Donja R. Love. “With the launch of our Annual Campaign, we’re ensuring that this work continues for years to come.”
