Pride Month is officially here and who better to celebrate with than Trixie Mattel! The drag icon is giving back to the community in multiple ways with her new release, a thrilling bass-heavy cover of RuPaul’s “Looking Good, Feeling Gorgeous”. Not only is the cover sure to fuel playlists throughout the month of PRIDE, but any net revenue earned from the accompanying YouTube video for the song during June will be donated to the Drag Isn’t Dangerous fund.

The track drop follows an already busy year for the global drag superstar who recently performed at the Stagecoach Festival, was nominated for two GLAAD Media Awards as well as two Critics Choice Awards, unveiled the Trixie and Katya Live livestream via Veeps, graced the cover of Los Angeles Magazine, and released multi-million-viewed video content via her YouTube channel featuring the likes of Orville Peck, Jaida Essence Hall, Laganja Estranja, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field. Today’s track drop also comes in advance of her upcoming Solid Pink Disco DJ set at NYC’s Pier 17 on June 22, her return to serve as a judge on the second season of Paramount+’s “Queen of The Universe”, and her upcoming performance at Outside Lands Music Festival this August.

Trixie Mattel competed on season 7 of Ru Paul’s Drag Race and was crowned the winner of All Stars season 3. Since then, Mattel has been booked and busy. She and Katya have a podcast and self-help parody novel Trixie and Katya’s Guide to Modern Womanhood that made them the first drag queens to ever make the New York Times bestseller list. Trixie also has a Discovery+ series called Trixie Motel, where she and boyfriend David Silver are on a mission to renovate a rundown Motel in Palm Springs.
