His latest single was a team effort working with a queer New York-based songwriter Santiago Clendinen for the first time, and it was produced by MELT Music, his long-time producing partner.
This song was meant to make audiences feel confident and strong like a “diamond,” which is the heavy focus in the lyrics. “Diamonds represent love, strength, and commitment, which felt like a super strong tie-in with this national awareness week. It’s become such an important factor to release my music to coincide with important subject matters, and so we wanted to stay true to that theme for this record,” Orlina says.
As a long-time ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, prioritizing our health and making healthy decisions is super important not just for this week but for everyday life. I’m grateful that many organizations shed light on this topic and share how important it is to put our health first.” Orlina says.
Orlina recently performed his dance-pop music at KISO, a queer nightclub in Los Angeles in front of a packed audience.

“I’m excited about this new chapter with my music. Kyle Thompson, my longtime creative director and choreographer, has put a lot of love into this project and to finally share it with my audience is so thrilling! The song feels very mature and is a true reflection of how I feel.” Thomas says.
A music video is set to be released soon.
