If joy had a soundtrack, it might sound a lot like “Yum Yum” — the bold, high-energy new single from viral sensations and next-up recording artists, The Spellman Twinz. Known for their wildly entertaining social media presence (1.2M+ on TikTok and counting), Clinton and Calvin Spellman are stepping off the screen and onto the main stage with a track that blends Brazilian funk, hip-hop, and pop into a technicolor twerk anthem for the ages.

Out everywhere April 11, “Yum Yum” is a celebration of movement, queerness, and delicious confidence. With a beat that’s impossible to ignore and lyrics that unapologetically embrace pleasure and power, the twins deliver what they call “bad bitch energy from the moment the beat drops.”
“No flex, I’m flexible
See how far back my legs can go
When you get that mon yun
I might just give up that yum yum…”
Built for the dancefloor and soaked in charisma, the track is also the appetizer to their upcoming Brazilian funk-inspired album. In their words, “‘Yum Yum’ makes you want to twerk, feel sexy, and get lit — no matter your booty size, we hope it starts moving!”
The accompanying video (premiering today April 8th!) is an explosion of color, choreography, and whipped cream. Set in a candy-coated ice cream shop, the Spellman Twinz strut and spin between milkshakes and neon lights, their highly melenated-glistening bodies taking center stage. It’s playful, sexy, and just the right amount of chaotic — in the best way. There’s no missing the whip-smart chemistry between them as they alternate between rapping in unison and hitting melodic hooks.

But behind the electric visuals and infectious beat lies a deeper story of resilience. Born and raised in Northern California, the twins’ path to stardom wasn’t a straight line. From surviving abuse and foster care to being disowned by their father for being gay, the Spellman Twinz have turned pain into power — and music into survival.
After their viral rise online and a public falling-out with their college track team over their growing visibility, the twins took a leap of faith and pursued music full-time. Now, they’re not just performers — they’re storytellers for a generation that sees itself in their joy, their journey, and their refusal to shrink.
“We’re gay, and we wanted to make music that people could relate to and feel good about,” Calvin shares. “Our music represents our personalities — chaotic, loud, vibrant, and real.”
