The Los Angeles Blades are the first openly Gay and Lesbian ice hockey team in the United States. Their mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for LGBT and straight people to play the game of hockey and to help build underStanding and eliminate homophobia in the hockey community.
Trans Wave is an all-levels adult Ice Hockey Team comprised of trans and gender non-conforming players from across North America. The team is both a safe space for players seeking competitive play, and a celebration of gender diversity.
