1.) The queer rom-com Things Like This hit theaters today! In the pic, Zack Anthony (Max Talisman), a struggling writer, and Zach Mande (Joey Pollari)l, a talent agent assistant trapped in a failing relationship, meet by chance. As they pair spend more time together, they uncover a surprising shared past that feels like fate. Watch the trailer below and catch Things Like This at a theater near you.
2.) MUBI shared the official trailer for Hot Milk, arriving in U.S. theaters June 27! Based on Deborah Levy’s acclaimed novel, the queer drama follows Sofia (Emma Mackey) as she embarks on a journey to the Spanish coast to find a cure for her mother Rose’s (Fiona Shaw) strange illness. In the sun-soaked town, Sofia begins to shed her inhibitions as she is drawn to the magnetic charms of a free spirited traveler, Ingrid (Vicky Krieps). Find the trailer below.
3.) The trailer for Netflix’s The Old Guard 2 has arrived, cementing the return of fan-favorite gay couple Joe and Nicky. In the sequel, Andy (Charlize Theron) grapples with her newfound mortality as a mysterious threat emerges that could jeopardize thousands of years of progress. Alongside Joe (Marwan Kenzari) and Nicky (Luca Marinelli), Andy enlists the help of Tuah (Henry Golding), an old friend who may provide the key to immortality. 4.) Hannah Einbinder is teaming up with Gillian Anderson on the upcoming film Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma! In Jane Schoenbrun’s third feature, the fictional slasher franchise Camp Miasma is being rebooted, yet again. But when the director becomes obsessed with the reclusive actress who played the original film’s final girl, a whole new kind of slasher emerges from the bottom of the lake. 5.) Colman Domingo is set to star in Strange Arrivals alongside Demi Moore. Based on Toby Ball’s podcast and inspired by a true story, the film centers on Betty and Barney Hill, an interracial couple who, in 1961, became the first reported case of an alien abduction. In more casting news, Margaret Cho is starring in Cheap AF from first-time feature director Roy Hsu. The rom-com tells the story of a money-saving influencer (Arden Cho) who risks losing her wedding and relationship when she goes all out to win Wedding Magazine’s “Best Wedding on a Budget” social media competition. 6.) Hulu shared a sneak peek of the BAFTA-winning BBC comedy Such Brave Girls’ sophomore season! Written by and starring queer comedian Kat Sadler, the series follows a dysfunctional mother and her two daughters as they desperately try to escape the reality of their cramped, crumbling, debt-ridden home. 7.) Lena Dunham’s latest comedy series Too Much is coming to Netflix July 10! Starring bisexual comedian Meg Stalter alongside Will Sharpe, the show centers on Jessica (Stalter), a New York workaholic in her mid-30s who moves to London to live a life of solitude after a grueling breakup. But when she meets Felix (Sharpe) — a walking series of red flags — she finds that their unusual connection is impossible to ignore. Find some first-look photos below!

8.) Max dropped the first teaser for James Gunn’s Peacemaker, returning to the streamer August 21! The series follows Christopher “Chris” Smith, aka Peacemaker (John Cena), the bisexual vigilante Super Hero who joins the black ops squad “Project Butterfly” alongside Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks). The new season finds Peacemaker struggling to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose and misguided quest for peace at any cost. Check out the teaser trailer below.
9.) Prime Video debuted the official trailer for the second season of The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, premiering May 27. In the raucous adult animation comedy, intergalactically renowned surgeons and best friends, Dr. Sleech (Stephanie Hsu) and Dr. Klak (Keke Palmer), risk everything to take on the most dangerous cases in the universe. The new season sees the doctors relishing the fame of their recent success until a cyborg journalist starts digging into Sleech’s past. Watch the trailer below, featuring an all-star cast of LGBTQ voice actors, including Sam Smith, Abbi Jacobson, Bowen Yang and John Waters!
10.) Netflix renewed Survival of the Thickest for a third and final season! Inspired by Michelle Buteau’s acclaimed book of essays, the series centers on Mavis, who works hard to establish herself as a stylist and is not only surviving but thriving with the support of her chosen family. The third season welcomes back fan-favorite couple Peppermint and Harrison (Dan Amboyer) and continues to celebrate Black, queer and plus-size joy. Catch up on the first two seasons on Netflix today.

11.) Disney+ dropped the first trailer for Marvel Television series Ironheart, featuring out stars Jim Rash and Shea Couleé. Set after the events of Wakanda Forever, Riri (Dominique Throne) returns to her hometown of Chicago on a mission to create the ultimate armor, where she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins, aka The Hood (Anthony Ramos). Watch the trailer below and catch the three-episode premiere on Disney+ June 24!
12.) The official lineup for Celebrity Traitors UK has been announced, including LGBTQ stars Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, Cat Burns, Clare Balding and Tom Daley! In the show, the celebrities will play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning a cash prize for a charity of their choice. Look out for release date information.

13.) Acclaimed nonbinary artist G Flip ushered in a new era with the single and visualizer “Disco Cowgirl.” In more music news, queer artist and activist Madame Gandhi debuted her album Let Me Be Water, LGBTQ artist Petter Wallenberg collaborated with Lady Bunny and Queer Voices from Uganda on the Pride anthem and music video “My Love (is the way it’s supposed to be),” and queer singer-songwriter Gatlin celebrated queer love and self acceptance with the song “If She Was A Boy.” Additionally, bisexual singer-songwriter Orla Gartland released the album Everybody Needs a Hero (extended edition) and lesbian multihyphenate Reneé Rapp teased her new song “Bite Me,” arriving May 21. Last but certainly not least, GLAAD Board Member Frankie Grande shared his new single “Boys” — watch the music video below!
14.) Spoke Media and iHeartPodcasts announced the launch of HIGHKEY!, a new podcast and video series hosted by cultural critic and GLAAD’s Consultant in Entertainment and Media Ryan Mitchell, political strategist and producer Ben O’Keefe, and drag superstar Yvie Oddly. With their distinct perspectives, the trio delivers bold provocations on art, politics, pop culture, and the events turning our timeline upside down. 15.) Nickelodeon unveiled the nominees for the 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards, airing live June 21. LGBTQ nominees include the out stars Lady Gaga, Doechii, Cynthia Erivo, Chappell Roan, Auli’i Cravalho, Frankie Grande, Billie Eilish, Sha’Carri Richardson and more, as well as inclusive programs The Really Loud House, The Loud House, XO Kitty, Abbott Elementary, Monster High and Wicked.
