1.) Well Go USA Entertainment has released the official trailer for upcoming action thriller Your Lucky Day, starring queer actor Elliot Knight, the late Euphoria breakout Angus Cloud, and more. The film watches as a dispute over a winning lottery ticket turns into a deadly hostage situation in a small convenience store on Christmas Eve. Your Lucky Day hits theaters November 10 and arrives on digital November 14; watch the trailer below!

3.) Today, gay singer and actor Troye Sivan released his first album in five years, Something to Give Each Other. Queer supergroup boygenius debuted their EP the rest, featuring four new songs, and queer musical artist Johnny Manuel shared his new EP Blue, alongside a music video to single “What Am I!” Tropical Western Pop duo Trophy Wives, composed of queer multi-talented creatives Rock and Luca, also dropped their new single “Cowboy Mama” today; watch the music video below.
Halsey will sing the role of Sally during the first two nights of the Hollywood Bowl’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” live show. Original voice actor Catherine O’Hara is set to take over on the production’s third and final night.

6.) Gay actor Andrew Rannells and Josh Gad have returned to their musical theater roots in a hilarious musical about an unintentionally hilarious new musical, Gutenberg! The Musical! In the play-within-a-play, besties Bud (Gad) and Doug (Rannells) present a show about the life of Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press. Buy your tickets today through January 28!

8.) The charmingly corny and queer Broadway musical Shucked is heading on a North American tour in the fall of 2024! Directed by out three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien, Shucked is described as a farm-to-table musical about corn and features a score by out Grammy-winning songwriting team Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally. The tour will reach over 30 cities in its first season– keep your eyes peeled for venue and cast announcements!

9.) The 23rd Annual The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, a one-night-only benefit where stars from theater, film, and television write and perform new work, has announced this year’s participants. Out performers include Ato Blankson-Wood, Raúl Esparza, and T.R. Knight, as well as musical guest Todd Almond– additional actors, writers, directors and more will be announced shortly. The event will be held on Monday, October 23 at Manhattan’s Town Hall; buy your tickets now!

10.) The 25th Annual LGBTQ Film Festival NewFest has officially launched this week! Founded in 1988, NewFest is New York’s largest presenter of LGBTQ film and media and the largest convener of LGBTQ audiences in the city. This year’s festival features over 130 LGBTQ films available both in-person throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, and virtually across the US.
