1.) Today’s the day to catch One of Them Days in theaters! The buddy comedy stars Keke Palmer and SZA as best friends and roommates, Dreux and Alyssa, respectively. When Alyssa’s boyfriend blows all their rent money, the pair must race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact. Check out the trailer below and find One of Them Days at a theater near you!
2.) NEON shared the final trailer for the haunting psychological thriller Presence, featuring Julia Fox! The Steven Soderbergh pic flips the haunted house genre on its head, following a fractured family from the perspective of a supernatural force who infiltrates their new home. Watch the trailer below and see Presence in theaters January 24!
3.) Queer Yellowjackets breakout Jasmin Savoy Brown is officially heading back to Woodsboro! Reprising her role as Mindy Meeks-Martin, a lesbian horror fanatic, Brown joins new nonbinary cast member Celeste O’Connor in Scream 7. 4.) Prime Video unveiled the official trailer for Clean Slate, the streamer’s highly-anticipated heartfelt comedy! One of the late Norman Lear’s last shows, Clean Slate stars Laverne Cox as Desiree, a proud trans woman returning to her small town in Alabama after her New York City art gallery goes under. Throughout the eight-episode series, Desiree and her father, Harry (George Wallace), repair their fraught relationship and face all of the hilarious coming-of-age milestones they missed out on the first time around. Find the trailer below and don’t miss the premiere of Clean Slate on February 6!
5.) Apple TV+ shared the first trailer for upcoming thriller miniseries Prime Target, starring nonbinary actor Quintessa Swindells! The show follows Edward Brooks (Leo Woodall), a young math postgraduate prodigy who is on the verge of a major breakthrough in finding a pattern amongst prime numbers that would give him the key to every computer in the world. As he realizes a mysterious enemy is attempting to thwart his progress, Edward comes into the orbit of NSA Agent Taylah Sanders (Swindells). 6.) Netflix dropped a teaser for the fifth and final season of You, debuting April 24! The last chapter takes Joe back to where it all began: New York City. Executive produced by Greg Berlanti, the season also introduces out actors Nava Mau, Natasha Behnam and Griffin Matthews in undisclosed roles. Catch the teaser below!
7.) In more Netflix news, the streamer released the official trailer for Castlevania: Nocturne, providing a first-look at queer characters Orlox and Mizrak. In the recently-released season, the legendary Alcurd, Richter Belmost, and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time. Orlox, who killed Richter’s mother years ago, must now decide where he can stomach teaming up with his sworn enemy in order to stop vampiric world domination. Watch the trailer below and binge the epic second season on Netflix today!
8.) Lesbian folk singer-songwriter and composer Crys Matthews debuted her new album Reclamation, reclaiming not only the South that raised her, but also the space Black artists have been denied in Country and Americana music, the space LGBTQ people have been denied in communities of faith, and the autonomy women have been denied over their own bodies. Check out the visualizer for “Like Jesus Would.” Additionally, Los Angeles’ heavenly harmonic trio Trousdale announced their upcoming album Growing Pains, out April 11, with the release of its title track; check out the official music video below. Following the devastation of the wildfires in Trousdale’s home city, the band is partnering with The Ally Coalition on behalf of The California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund for their upcoming tour. $1 from each ticket will support both mid-term and long-term efforts to rebuild and restore the lives of California’s most affected and underserved populations. Last but certainly not least, queer singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer Lucy Dacus unveiled the official music video to her single “Ankles;” pre-order the new album Forever Is A Feeling, out March 28!
9.) LGBTQ stars Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and Green Day are headlining FireAid, a one-night-only benefit concert on January 30 that will raise money for rebuilding communities devastated by wildfires and supporting efforts to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California. FireAid will be broadcast by select AMC theaters, Apple Music, Max, Netflix, Prime Video, Spotify and more; keep an eye out for additional artist announcements and buy your tickets January 22!

10.) GLAAD Vito Risso Award-winning country star Orville Peck is making his Broadway debut as the new Emcee in Cabaret at the KitKat Club, alongside Eve Noblezada as Sally. Replacing out stars Adam Lambert and Auli’i Cravalho, Peck and Noblezada will play a limited 16-week engagement at the August Wilson Theatre starting March 31 through July 20!
