1.) The dark comedy-drama My Dead Friend Zoe hits theaters today, starring Natalie Morales! Inspired by a true story, U.S. Army Afghanistan veteran Merit is at odds with her family as she keeps seeing the presence of Zoe (Morales), her best friend who died in combat. When her estranged grandfather is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, Merit decides to become his caretaker while also trying to heal herself. Catch the South by Southwest Audience Award-winner at a theater near you!
2.) The Bear breakout Ayo Edebiri is set to write the screenplay for A24’s upcoming live-action Barney film! Though plot details remain under wraps, Edebiri is in talks to play a starring role. In other film news, Emmy-winners Neil Patrick Harris and Jessica Gunning are joining Bella Ramsey in the forthcoming feature Sunny Dancer. The coming-of-age pic follows Ivy (Ramsey), a 17-year-old cancer survivor who is less than thrilled to attend a summer camp for young adults affected by the disease. But soon, Ivy manages to find unexpected friends in a group of misfits, leading to a transformative summer. Stay tuned for more information on these exciting projects!

3.) The documentary Unveiling Majesty is seeking funding! In the doc, legendary drag queen Majesty Divine faces the harsh modern reality of being an out and proud middle school teacher in Alabama. Spotlighting the resilience and power of LGBTQ voices, the film aims to shatter stereotypes, inspire empathy and spark a vital conversation about acceptance and equality in Alabama and beyond. 4.) The official trailer for the fourth and final season of The Righteous Gemstones has arrived! The hit comedy centers on a famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work. Despite constant bickering, Gemstone family ties run deep, and this season, the family’s codependence is tested as they attempt to move forward without letting go of their storied past. Watch the trailer below, featuring Kelvin and Keefe!
5.) Peacock shared first look images of the highly anticipated sophomore season of Poker Face, including Cynthia Erivo as sextuplets! The season continues to follow Natasha Lyonne as human lie detector Charlie Cale, who is still on the run in her 1969 Plymouth Barracuda. Featuring out guest stars Patti Harrison and Alia Shawkat, the season is filled with minor league baseball, big box retail, funeral homes, alligator farms and a grade school talent show. 6.) Ncuti Gatwa is gearing up for another adventure through time and space! In the upcoming second season of Doctor Who, the Doctor (Gatwa) meets Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) and begins an epic quest to get her back to Earth. The Traitors host Alan Cumming is set to guest star in the second episode as Mr. Ring-a-Ding, a happy, funny, singalong cartoon who sees the real world outside of the screen for the first time. 7.) Mid-Century Modern is officially coming to Hulu on March 28! From the creators of Will & Grace and Ryan Murphy, the multi-cam comedy follows three gay men of a certain age (Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer and Nathan Lee Graham) who decide to spend their golden years living together in sun-soaked Palm Springs. Steam all ten episodes next month!

8.) Leverage: Redemption is returning to the small screen on April 17! In the upcoming third season, the team—including queer tech expert Breanna Casey (Aleyse Shannon)—pits themselves against a mayor who’s literally the judge and jury of his small town, outrun a mark who’s finally caught up with them mid-con, bring down an industrialist exploiting child labor, and more. 9.) A24 acquired the upcoming flatshare comedy series It Gets Worse from queer comedian Leo Reich. Starring and created by Reich, the show follows Ethan, Abi and Sam, best friends and dysfunctional roommates. After a year in London, the trio has accomplished nothing and their landlord is selling up. In more TV updates, the hit sapphic manga The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All’s third printed volume revealed that an anime adaptation of the comedy series is in production! While the news was confirmed by author Sumiko Arai, details surrounding the project remain under wraps. Watch the anime announcement trailer!

10.) Emmy-winner Lena Waithe is set for a guest role in ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. Returning from a winter hiatus, the twenty-first season continues on March 6, where Waithe plays Dr. Evynn Moore, a brilliant and savvy former student of Catherine Fox’s who visits Grey Sloan to help her on a unique case which happens to be for her wife (Andrea Bordeaux). 11.) Bisexual alt-pop star Halsey dropped the official music video to single “safeword” — check it out below! Queer country artist Sam Williams also released the lead song “COUNTRYSTAR,” off his upcoming three-act trilogy Act II: COUNTRYSTAR, out July 11. Watch the title track’s music video. Additionally, rock Aussie band Joan and the Giants shared their new single “Still Breathing!”
12.) GLAAD Vito Russo Award-winning country star Orville Peck teased his unmasked silhouette as the new Emcee in Cabaret at the KitKat Club. Check out the pic below and don’t miss Peck’s Broadway debut during a limited 16-week engagement at the August Wilson Theatre from March 31 through July 20! In more Broadway news, Cole Escola, Conrad Ricamora, and James Scully are returning to star in the hit comedy Oh, Mary!. Catch Oh, Mary! with the entire original cast starting April 8 at the Lyceum Theatre!
