1.) A24’s queer romantic thriller Love Lies Bleeding hits theaters today! This bloody revenge story stars out actresses Kristen Stewart and Katy O’Brian, respectively playing Lou, a reclusive gym manager who quickly falls for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder. Love ignites violence as the pair becomes entangled in the web of Lou’s criminal family. Find Love Lies Bleeding in a theater near you!
2.) New musical romance Glitter and Doom is now in limited theaters! The fantastical film is set to the hits of queer band Indigo Girls and follows the love-at-first-sight whirlwind romance between circus performer Glitter and struggling musician Doom. The two spend an epic summer together, complete with 25 reimagined iconic Indigo Girls songs—plus a new song from the group, “What We Wanna Be.” The film features a star-studded cast of out performers, including Lea DeLaria, Tig Notaro, Kate Pierson, Drag Race alum Peppermint, Broadway star Beth Malone, and Indigo Girls’ Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. 3.) Mean Girls is now streaming on Paramount+. The movie-musical adaptation of the iconic 2004 film features lesbian actress Reneé Rapp as Regina George, gay actor Jaquel Spivey as gay character Damian, and bisexual actress Auli’i Cravalho as lesbian character Janis. Stream now to see them make fetch happen on the small screen!
4.) The trailer has dropped for Sing Sing, starring gay actor Colman Domingo. Based on the arts rehabilitation program at Sing Sing maximum security prison, the A24 film follows a group of inmates creating theater productions together. The film also features several formerly incarcerated actors who participated in the real-life program themselves. Watch the trailer below, and be on the lookout for Sing Sing in theaters this summer.
5.) Queer actress Ayo Edebiri voices the adorable animated emotion “Envy” in the recently unveiled trailer for Inside Out 2. The Pixar film picks up at the start of Riley’s teenagehood, bringing with it a tumultuous battle between new personified emotions inside her mind. Check out the trailer below, and catch the film in theaters June 14!
6.) In casting news, queer actress and Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose is set to star in crypto heist film Dutch & Razzlekhan. The film is based on a true story and starts production this summer. Additionally, gay actor Matt Bomer has signed on to star in Outcome, a new dark comedy from Apple Studios.

7.) The trailer for the Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show, a comedy docuseries from HBO, was recently released. The show follows out comedian Jerrod Carmichael through his personal life as he navigates love, sex, and truth—including direct discussions with family members surrounding his sexuality. The series spans 8 episodes, released weekly, with the first one set to premiere Friday, March 29. Watch the trailer below, and check out the series later this month!
8.) Netflix has released the official trailer for Ripley, with gay actor Andrew Scott serving as a producer and starring as the titular character. The limited series also features non-binary actor and singer Elliot Sumner. Based on Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling Tom Ripley novels, the eight episodes center on Ripley’s employment by a wealthy man who wants the grifter to persuade his vagabond son to return home from Italy–and the resulting deceit, fraud and murder that transpire. 9.) Nonbinary comedian and actor Sabrina Wu has been cast as “Pin-Lee” in Apple TV+’s series Murderbot, based on Martha Wells’ bestselling book series The Murderbot Diaries. The 10-episode series will follow a security android grappling with its own emotions and free will, while simultaneously carrying out dangerous missions and concealing its self-hacking.

10.) Queer Grammy-award winner Miley Cyrus teamed up with Pharrell Williams on a new dance track, “Doctor (Work It Out)”—check out the music video below! Other new singles by out artists include rapper Cardi B’s “Like What (Freestyle),” along with the corresponding music video; indie pop artist girl in red’s title track off her upcoming album (dropping April 12), “DOING IT AGAIN BABY”; and indie pop singer Leanna Firestone’s “COOL!” Out electronic pop artist Bentley Robles also released his deluxe EP “UGLY CRIER (Deluxe)” and accompanying focus track visualizer, “IAM IAM IAM.”
