1.) Group Therapy is now available on Prime Video! This unique doc features out comedians Neil Patrick Harris, Tig Notaro, and Nicole Byer, offering an intimate exploration of mental health. In their group dialogue, personal confessionals, and stand-up clips, the comedians bravely reveal the connection between their professional and mental health journeys. 2.) The highly-anticipated trailer for River Gallo’s Ponyboi has arrived—the first ever feature written by and starring an out intersex person. Set over the course of Valentine’s Day, the pic follows an intersex sex worker (Gallo) who goes on the run from the mob while confronting his past and trying to find his place in the world. Written by Gallo and directed by Esteban Arango, Ponyboi stars out actors Indya Moore and Murray Bartlett alongside Dylan O’Brien and Victoria Pedretti. 3.) Bravo unveiled the first trailer for its new reality series Next Gen NYC, which features trans model and content creator Emira D’Spain! The show follows a tangled web of twentysomethings who were raised in the spotlight as they navigate friendships, careers and romance. Watch the trailer below and don’t miss the premiere June 3 at 9pm ET.
4.) Ensemble comedy Adults is coming to FX on May 28! Formerly titled Snowflakes, the show follows five codependent housemates—Anton (gay actor Own Thiele), Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen) and Issa (Amito Rao)—navigating the complexities of young adulthood together despite their flaws. Out stars Julia Fox and Grace Kuhlenschmidt will also appear in guest roles. Stream all eight episodes of Adults on Hulu and FX on Demand May 29!

5.) Prime Video revealed first look photos of their new YA street racing series Motorheads, featuring out actors Mia Healey and Nicholas Cantu! Set in a once-thriving rust-belt town, the series tells the story of a group of outsiders who form an unlikely friendship over their mutual love for automobiles. 6.) In casting news this week, nonbinary actor Emma Corrin will play Elizabeth Bennet in Netflix’s upcoming miniseries based on the novel Pride & Prejudice. Pride & Prejudice is Jane Austen’s second novel, and follows Elizabeth Bennet, an unmarried woman and one of five daughters, who are being pressured to marry well in order for someone to inherit the family home.

7.) In other casting news, queer actress Sherry Cola has been cast in season three of Apple TV’s Shrinking in a recurring role! Shrinking follows a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Cola joins gay actor Michael Urie as Brian Lorenzo, a lawyer and best friend of the main character, as well as Lorenzo’s partner in the show, Charlie, played by out actor Devin Kawaoka. Apple TV’s Sugar cast out actor Sasha Calle as a series regular in the upcoming sophomore season! A contemporary take on a classic detective story, the series follows private investigator John Sugar as he searches for the granddaughter of a Hollywood producer. Calle is believed to portray a hustler working for Sugar. Keep an eye out for more information!

8.) JoJo Siwa entered the Celebrity Big Brother UK house alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard! In the 24th season, a new cast of famous faces are isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment. 9.) Australian comedy Colin from Accounts was renewed for a third season by Paramount+. The rom-com centers on Ashley and Gordon, two flawed and funny singletons, who are brought together by a car accident involving an injured stray dog. Over the course of the series, viewers are introduced to Ash’s queer best friend Megan (Emma Harvie), who is set to return for the new season. Stay tuned for release details!

10.) Drag legend Trixie Mattel collaborated with pop music innovator VINCINT on a cover of the iconic RuPaul hit “Supermodel (You Better Work).” In more music news, queer country artist Sam Williams released the new sultry track “No Problem” alongside a black-and-white music video. Indie pop band Sub-Radio, led by bisexual singer Adam Bradley, also dropped the single “Sleep On The Beach.” Betty Who’s celebratory new single “Run” is out today, the queer icon’s first single since 2022.
