1.) A Nice Indian Boy hit theaters today! In Roshan Sethi’s third feature, the modest yet charming doctor Naveen (Karan Soni) introduces his white-artist boyfriend Jay (Jonathan Groff) to his traditional East Indian family. While facing uncomfortable truths about their own ideas of love and marriage, the family attempts to plan the big Indian wedding of Naveen and Jay’s dreams. 2.) Indican Pictures’ God Save the Queens is available on demand now! Featuring a glittering constellation of drag stars, the audacious dramedy follows a quartet of down-on-their-luck queens who are stuck at the same therapy treat. 3.) Paramount+ dropped the first teaser for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season three, featuring queer actress Jess Bush as the bisexual nurse Christine! In the season, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, led by Captain Christoper Pike, explores new worlds and carries out missions throughout the galaxy in the 23rd century. Watch the teaser below and don’t miss new episodes this summer.
4.) Disney+ shared a new trailer for Doctor Who season two! The sophomore season follows the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and his new companion Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) as they embark on an epic quest to return to Earth. But when a mysterious force tries to deter them, the time-traveling team face greater dangers, bigger enemies and wider terrors than ever before. 5.) Amazon debuted first look photos of the third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, featuring the magnetic bisexual character Jeremiah! Based on the bestselling novels by Jenny Han, the multigenerational coming-of-age drama centers on a love triangle between Belly and two brothers, Jeremiah and Conrad. 6.) Tim Dillon is returning to Netflix for a new stand-up special on April 15! In I’m Your Mother, the gay comedian takes viewers on an unapologetic ride through today’s chaos, tackling everything from his odd loyalty to the British royal family to roasting the world’s absurdities. In the meantime, you can watch Dillon’s unscripted hour This Is Your Country on Netflix today.

7.) ABC renewed a plethora of LGBTQ-inclusive shows, including Ryan Murphy’s popular procedural drama 9-1-1 for a ninth season, hit police drama Will Trent for a fourth season, and the long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy for a twenty-second season. 8.) GLAAD Media Award-nominee Kali Uchis dropped the music video to single “Sunshine & Rain…” off her fifth studio album Sincerely, out May 9. Watch the music video below! Additionally, Miley Cyrus released the official video to the title track “Something Beautiful” from her forthcoming album. Pre-order the album Something Beautiful, coming May 30!
9.) In other music news, alt-pop songstress KiNG MALA shared ”Devotion,” the third track off her debut album And You Who Drowned in the Grief of a Golden Thing, coming May 2. Check out the music video below! The Beaches also dropped the party anthem “Last Girls at the Party” alongside a music video; pre-save the upcoming album No Hard Feelings. Finally, indie-folk singer David Wimbish & The Collection released his reimagined version of “Medication – Deserve To Be Well” and singer-songwriter Joveth shared his anticipated debut EP Lonely Boy.
10.) Gay filmmaker Todd Haynes will receive the honorary Carrosse d’Or (Golden Carriage) award from The French Directors’ Guild at the upcoming edition of its Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. Highlighting Haynes legacy of challenging social, sexual and artistic norms, the SRF will present the award at their opening ceremony, running alongside the main Cannes Film Festival from May 12 to 22!
