Wildly creative and queer musician Flor Amargo will be at the Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park on July 30, presented by La Banda Elástica, a Latin youth culture web destinaton. Known for her high-energy and playful public performances and featured on the soundtrack of “La Casa de las Flores,” she is one of several musicians giving concerts at Levitt LA, which are free to the public, but you do have to sign up. And, of course, mask up!

 This Sunday, May 17 is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. In Mexico, Libera Tu Orgullo (Release Your Pride) will bring together activists and celebrities for an hour-long program of performances and messages of support en español. Also on Sunday, in Puerto Rico LGBTQ activists will be joined by singers Ricky Martin and Olga Tañón to remember those lost to anti-LGBTQ violence and to call for safety for all Puerto Ricans.
