One of the best things about working at GLAAD is getting to celebrate the smart, funny, moving AND LGBTQ-inclusive stories we are seeing—in English and en Español. Over the years, I have seen LGBTQ representation slowly increase—and sometimes, unfortunately, decrease again the next year. We have a lot more to do, and the work goes on!

Today we celebrate the steps forward, like the existence of a scripted show or novela from Mexico centered around two young men in love: El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca which won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Scripted Television Series at the GLAAD Media Awards July 30.
