Featuring 12 fan favorite queens from all over the globe, RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars took the world by storm.
The finale featured the top 4 queens; Alyssa Edwards (USA), Kitty Scott-Claus (UK), Kween Kong (Australia), and Nehellenia (Italy), all lip syncing for the crown to “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga.

And “Queen of the Mothertucking World” is none other than… Alyssa Edwards!
After hearing the queens chat with host RuPaul and resident judge Michelle Visage for an emotional Tic Tac chat, where they reflected on their journeys throughout the season and what it means to represent their countries on a global stage, the finalists were also challenged to write, record, and star in the “Dance Like the World is Watching” music video with help from Emmy-nominated choreographer and judge, Jamal Sims.
While the competition was fierce, there could only be one winner. Texas native Alyssa Edwards took the throne and earned a gag-worthy grand prize of $200,000 as well as a coveted spot in the International Pavilion at the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
“All of the queens that competed on the first ever Global All Stars blew me away,” said eight-time Emmy Award winning host and executive producer, RuPaul. “But, in the end, it was Alyssa Edwards, the queen from Mesquite, Texas, that showed me and the world what sickening, gagworthy, and drop-dead gorgeous drag is all about.”
On top of this, the 12 queens voted Soa de Muse of France as Miss Global Peacemaker for her kindness and compassion throughout the season, earning her a cash prize of $10,000 for the award.
In honor of the RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars grand finale, MTV and World of Wonder partnered with All Out – an international organization that fights for LGBTQ+ rights around the world – and made a $100,000 donation to start the new fund.
