RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! celebrated its landmark 1,000th performance with the final six queens of Drag Race season 17 Jewels Sparkles, Lana Ja’Rae, Lexi Love, Onya Nerve, Sam Starr, and Suzie Toot.
Drag Race LIVE! debuted in 2020 at the Flamingo Showroom at the Flamingo Hotel. The nightly immersive drag show has been a nightly event on the Las Vegas trip with a rotating cast of Drag Race alum. The stage show was showcased in the season 14 finale where RuPaul Charles was presented with the key to Las Vegas and April 22, 2022 was named “RuPaul Day” in Clark County.
Co-directed by RuPaul Charles and frequent Drag Race judge and choreographer Jamal Sims, Drag Race LIVE! had its 1000th performance on March 15 and included the current lineup of Jaida Essence Hall, Morphine Love Dion, Ginger Minj, Asia O’Hara, and Plane Jane.
Other queens from Drag Race past an notable names were also in Vegas to celebrate the 1000th performance including Alexis Mateo, Naomi Smalls, Derrick Barry, Cheryl Hole, Hot Chocolate, DeJa Skye, Jaymes Mansfield, Symone, Kahanna Montrese, Kennedy Davenport, Kylie Sonique Love, Mirage, and Yara Sofia.
