This Wednesday, the second season of coming-of-age comedy Reservation Dogs premieres on Hulu. With acclaimed trans Navajo filmmaker Sydney Freeland and queer Kahnawà:ke Mohawk actress Devery Jacobs in the all-Native writers room, the series follows the exploits of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma who steal, rob and save in order to get to the faraway land of California. Season two begins as the town recovers from the aftermath of a tornado, where Willie Jack tries to reverse a curse. In a world of the Dreaming, the Sandman, otherwise known as the Master of Dreams, gives shape to all of our deepest fears and fantasies. But when Dream is unexpectedly captured and held prisoner for a century, his absence sets off a series of events that will change both the dreaming and waking worlds forever. To restore order, Dream must journey across different worlds and timelines, revisiting old friends and foes, including non-binary character Desire, played by non-binary actor Mason Alexander Park.
