GLAAD LAUNCHES SECOND ANNUAL “PRIDE UNBOXED” INITIATIVE TO CELEBRATE PRIDE MONTH

“Pride Unboxed” will be provided as a gift to the first 300 supporters who become a monthly donor to GLAAD with a gift of $19.95 or more in support of the organization’s LGBTQ advocacy and culture-changing work
New York, NY – Thursday, May 20, 2021 – GLAAD, the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, today announced the launch of its second annual “Pride Unboxed” initiative to celebrate Pride Month. Pride Unboxed was created in 2020 as a way to help LGBTQ people and allies show their pride while social distancing.

Presented by Porte, the Pride Unboxed gift set contains 20 products and special gifts from LGBTQ-inclusive partners such as Google, Samuel Adams, Sally Hansen, Entertainment Weekly, Teletubbies, BIC, Audible, Tinder, Pop-Tarts, and more, including special GLAAD-branded items.
As the trans community continues to face growing levels of discrimination and violence, GLAAD’s Pride Unboxed initiative also includes a QR code linking to a resource guide with various ways to get educated, find and show support, and activate in solidarity with the trans community this Pride Month and beyond. The box will be provided as a gift to the first 300 supporters who become a monthly donor to GLAAD with a gift of $19.95 or more in support of the organization’s LGBTQ advocacy and culture-changing work. The first 100 supporters to become a monthly donor will also receive a bonus Fitbit Sense.
