GLAAD and ASOS Expand the Together Movement’s Retail Clothing Line for Pride Month
New York, NY – GLAAD, the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, today announced an exciting expansion of its retail partnership with global fashion destination ASOS which aims to bring GLAAD’s powerful Together Movement to LGBTQ youth around the world. Following the success of last year’s debut collection, ASOS and GLAAD will release a new gender-inclusive 22 piece capsule collection focused on the themes of Pride, unity and acceptance. ASOS has committed to donating 25% of all proceeds from this new line to GLAAD.
ASOS and GLAAD invited ten exciting young talents within the LGBTQ community, including Tommy Dorfman from the hit Netflix show ‘13 Reasons Why’ as well as Matthew Lent also known as Pearl, from season 7 of ‘RuPauls Drag Race’ to illustrate what unity means to them in the form of 10 exclusive pieces of artwork. Additional talent taking part in this exciting project include Ari Fitz, Chella Man, Darius Moreno, Elizabeth De La Piedera, Elizabeth Wirijia, Quil Lemons, Rai Flowers and Trey Campbell.
“I’m thrilled to kick off Pride this year with the relaunch of the GLAAD and ASOS collection, representing unity and togetherness within the LGBTQ+ community and our allies,” said Tommy Dorfman from the hit Netflix show ‘13 Reasons Why.’
