Just this year, we have seen hundreds of anti-LGBTQ+ bills proposed and passed across the country. These attacks are often directed at transgender students, seeking to further marginalize them. It is the responsibility of elected officials to uplift and amplify the voices of LGBTQ+ youth. We need to protect and uplift queer youth across the country and continue the fight for LGBTQ+ progress.
