Created by Dom Griffith, Black Bixa was born from his time as a Fulbright ETA in Bahia, Brazil, the country’s Black nucleus. Starting out as a project that explores the African diaspora through the lens of queer individuals in Latin America, Black Bixa has since developed into a platform that adds to the conversation surrounding intersectionality and the Black queer experience.
