In honor of the Southeastern Conference Network (SEC)’s 10th anniversary, the sports station is entering a new era. Now that the Southeastern Conference has officially added Oklahoma and Texas to the mix, the network decided it was time for a revamp.
And who better to kick off this exciting new chapter than out country star Brooke Eden?
Eden has recorded an all-new rendition of the network’s classic theme song “Party Wherever We Go” to play as the opening sequence for SEC Nation, the network’s weekly, traveling pre-game show.
Listen to Eden’s version here:
“Getting to put my touch on the SEC Nation theme song and opening sequence is such a privilege in and of itself. Getting to debut it at my alma mater is nothing short of a full-circle moment,” Eden stated.
The song made it’s debut on August 31st when when show traveled to Gainesville, FL. to showcase the Gators hosting in-state rival Miami Hurricanes.
The GLAAD Media Award nominated artist came out publicly in 2021. The network’s decision to spotlight Eden is especially exciting coming from a part of the country currently plagued by anti-LGBTQ bills and politicians.
Eden and wife Hilary Hoover are currently expecting their first child!
