NBC’s This is Us will premiere its fifth season on Tuesday. The ensemble cast of this family drama include Tess, the lesbian daughter of Randall, one of three siblings at the center of the show. In the premiere, the Pearsons gather to celebrate their 40th birthday while musing about the day they were born. This is Us: Tuesday, 9pm on NBC.
On Thursday, comedy Superstore returns to NBC. The show features gay character Mateo among the main ensemble. In Thursdays episode, “After the coronavirus hits, Amy and Jonah try to bring some order to the chaos in Cloud 9 while being pulled in multiple directions. The employees learn what it means to be considered “heroes” while Amy and Jonah’s impending move to California looms large. Superstore: Thursday, 8pm on NBC.
