The newest season of Master of None will be released on Netflix this Sunday. The new season chronicles the relationship of Denise (Lena Waithe) and her partner Alicia (Naomi Ackie). This new season is a modern love story that intimately illustrates the ups and downs of marriage, struggles with fertility, and personal growth both together and apart. Fleeting romantic highs meet crushing personal losses while existential questions of love and living are raised. Master of None: Sunday on Netflix.
The two-part series finale of Black Lightning airs on Monday night. The show is known for one of the main character Anissa, who was TV’s first Black lesbian superhero and her fiancé Grace Choi. In the finale, Jefferson realizes that sometimes, an admission of weakness can be a show of strength. Meanwhile, Tobias is focusing on an end game. After four seasons, the game-changing, relevant and electrifying series comes to an end. Black Lighting: Monday, 9pm on The CW.
The fifth and final season of Freeform’s The Bold Type premieres on Wednesday. The show includes bi co-lead Kat and will re-introduce her love interest Adena in this season. In this week’s episode, Jane races to finish a high risk expose that could have repercussions for Jacqueline. Sutton has a chance to shine at a Scarlet retreat, if she can regain her focus. And Kat wants to stay true to herself while making a big decision. The Bold Type: Wednesday, 10pm on Freeform.
