This sixth season of Netflix’s popular raunchy comedy Big Mouth premieres on Friday, and from the trailer it looks queer as ever. Big Mouth follows a group of teenagers and the hormone monsters guiding them through the trials and tribulations of puberty. Central characters Jessi Glaser (Jessi Klein), Jay Bilzerian (Jason Mantzoukas), and Matthew MacDell (Andrew Rannells) are all queer, and season six promises more of their storie now that Jay and Matthew are an item. Big Mouth: Friday on Netflix.
The final episode of Hulu’s new meta-comedy Reboot drops on Tuesday, topping off the inaugural season’s eight episode run. Reboot follows an early 2000s family sitcom that is rebooted, and the dysfunctional cast dealing with their unresolved issues in today’s fast-changing world. A large number of the women on the show are queer, including protagonist and showrunner of the show-withing-a-show Hannah (Rachel Bloom), Bree (Judy Greer), a B-list actress from the original sitcom, and Timberly (Alyah Chanelle Scott), one of the new cast members. Reboot: Tuesday on Hulu.
