On Friday, period sports comedy drama A League of Their Own premieres on Amazon Prime Video. Based on the true story and inspired by Penny Marshall’s beloved 1992 classic film, the series introduces an entirely new WWII All-American professional women’s baseball league as they fight to keep team alive through close games, injuries, sexual awakenings and road trips across a rapidly changing US. The show is from out writer and actor Abbi Jacobson, who is also in the ensemble cast, and features out actors Roberta Colindrez, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Marquise Vilsón, Rosie O’Donnell and more! Netflix’s coming-of-age comedy Never Have I Ever returns on Friday. In Season 3, Indian American teenager Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) continues to deal with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while also navigating new romantic relationships. The series features Devi’s lesbian best friend Fabiola, played by out actress Lee Rodriguez, and her girlfriend Eve, played by Christina Kartchner. Never Have I Ever: Friday on Netflix.
