Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, the animated prequel to the iconic film franchise, premieres Tuesday on Max! The series is set in 1920s Shanghai, where 10-year-old Sam Wing and a young Mogwai called Gizmo embark on a dangerous journey through the Chinese countryside, encountering colorful monsters, spirits, and a power-hungry industrialist alongside his growing army of evil Gremlins. Gay actor BD Wong voices Sam’s father, Hon Wing, who never believed his father-in-law’s tales of magic and adventure. Additional guest voices include gay actors George Takei, Bowen Yang, and more! On Tuesday, Hulu’s original comedy series How I Met Your Father returns after its second midseason finale, which featured gay actor Neil Patrick Harris as the infamous character Barney! The show picks up eight years after the events of How I Met Your Mother, where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends— including queer character Ellen, played by lesbian actress, comedian, and writer Tien Tran— stumble into their 30s while taking on changes to their careers and love lives. The Ultimatum: Queer Love debuts Wednesday on Netflix! In the queer season of the dating show, five new couples, made up of women and non-binary people, are at a crossroads in their relationship. One partner is ready for marriage, the other may have doubts. An ultimatum is issued. And in just over eight weeks, each couple will either get married, or get out, after they each choose new potential partners in a life-changing opportunity to get a glimpse of two different futures.
