The CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returns tonight for its sixth season. The show includes many queer characters including Sara, Constantine, and Ava. In the premiere, after a night of celebrating their beating the Fates, the Legends quickly discover that Sara is missing. Trying to keep it together, the Legends are shocked to discover that she was taken by Aliens. Ava sends Rory and Behrad to follow a lead on who can possibly help them find Sara, while Constantine tries to work his magic. Meanwhile, Sara does all she can to try to escape, which includes releasing Aliens into the timeline, but is shocked to learn who one of her kidnappers turns out to be. GLAAD Media Award-winning drama Pose returns tonight for its third and final season. The show follows queer and trans characters of color in the New York ballroom scene. On tonight’s premiere, it’s 1994. With the AIDS epidemic reaching fever pitch, Blanca finds purpose working as a nurse’s aide at Roosevelt hospital alongside her new love, Christopher. But Blanca’s history with a new patient leads to a challenging ordeal. Meanwhile, Lemar shakes up the ballroom community when he becomes father to the unruly House of Khan forcing the House of Evangelista to consider reassembling. Pose: Sunday, 10pm on FX.
New comedy series Girls5eva premieres on Peacock this Thursday. When a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90’s gets sampled by a young rapper, its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can‘t they also be Girls5eva? One of the members of the band is a lesbian, played by out comedian Paula Pell. Girls5eva: Thursday on Peacock.
HBO Max’s ballroom competition show Legendary returns for its second season on Thursday. 10 new houses are turning up the heat with their unique styles and unforgettable routines, all to prove they have what it takes to be Legendary. The show, which includes judges Jameela Jamil, Megan Thee Stallion, Law Roach, and Leiomy Maldonado, will also have guest judges Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert, Taraji P. Henson, Normani, Tiffany Haddish, Nicco Annan, and Amiyah Scott. Legendary: Thursday on HBO Max.
Hulu’s Shrill will premiere its third and final season on Friday on the streaming service. In the season, everything finally seems to be falling into place for Annie—she’s managed to dump her man-child boyfriend, catch the eye of a powerful new mentor, and snag some high-profile assignments—so why isn’t everything clicking? Sometimes life’s big challenge isn’t getting what you want, it’s knowing what you want. The show includes several LGBTQ characters include Annie’s roommate Fran, her boss Gabe, and coworker Ruthie.
