On Tuesday, the seventh and final season of Queen Sugar airs on OWN. Based on Natalie Baszile’s 2014 novel, the series chronicles the lives of estranged Bordelon siblings— including bisexual journalist and activist Nova, played by out actress Rutina Wesley— who come together to run the clan’s struggling sugar cane farm in the fictional Louisiana community of St. Josephine. Season seven picks up six months after Ralph Angel and Darla welcomed their baby girl to the world! Queen Sugar: Tuesday, 8pm on OWN.
The six and final season of legal drama The Good Fight premieres Thursday on Paramount+. The Good Wife spin-off features lesbian actresss Charmaine Bingwa as Carmen Moyo, a first-year associate lawyer at a high-profile law firm in Chicago, and Vito Russo Award-winning actor Alan Cumming, who reprises his iconic role as Eli Gold. The Good Fight: Thursday on Paramount+.
