On Monday, All American: Homecoming premieres at 9pm on The CW. The sports drama follows a young tennis hopeful from Beverly Hills, Simone Hicks (Geffri Maya) and an elite baseball player from Chicago, Damons Sims (Peyton Alex Smith) as they contend with the high stakes of college sports while also navigating the highs, lows, and sexiness of unsupervised early adulthood at a prestigious Historically Black College. Out queer actor Rhoyle Ivy King plays Simone’s friend Nathaniel, a genderfluid stylist and fellow student at Bringston University. All American: Homecoming: Monday, 9pm on The CW.
On Wednesday, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder premieres on Disney+. A continuation of the acclaimed series from the early 00’s, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder follows the adventures and misadventures of newly 14-year-old Penny Proud and her Proud Family as they navigate modern life with hilarity and heart. Out actors Zachary Quinto and Billy Porter voice interracial husbands Barry and Randall Leibowitz-Jenkins, respectively, and out actor EJ Johnson voices Penny’s gender-nonconforming friend Michael Collins. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder: Wednesday, on Disney+.
