During New York Fashion Week, Meredith Marks, television personality, designer, and star of ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ hosted a special evening at The Times Square EDITION to celebrate in advance of GLAAD’s upcoming 40th Anniversary Gala.
Marks, a longtime supporter of GLAAD and proud member of the Host Committee for the 40th Anniversary Gala, welcomed guests to an elegant evening featuring Meredith Marks Caviar alongside cocktails sponsored by Yola Mezcal, Maschio Prosecco, and Riunite Lambrusco.
As a member of the Host Committee for this milestone year, Marks brought her signature glamour to the night. Guests enjoyed an elevated menu that featured Meredith Marks Caviar, setting the tone for a stylish and meaningful celebration.
This isn’t the first time Meredith and her family have partnered with GLAAD. Earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, Meredith welcomed the LGBTQ community into her Park City boutique for a celebration alongside her son, designer Brooks Marks.
The mother–son duo also made a red carpet appearance at the premiere for ‘Next Gen’ in New York City, where they spoke about the importance of parents supporting their LGBTQ children. Brooks reflected on his bond with his mom, reminding parents everywhere: “You only have one relationship with that one child, you should really make it work. Life is too short to care about something as stupid as who someone is going to bed with.”

Marks has long supported GLAAD’s work for LGBTQ visibility. For Pride, she donated a portion of proceeds from her online jewelry sales and her limited-edition I’m Engaging with LGBTQ Rights T-shirt, which was available exclusively at meredithmarks.com, to help accelerate acceptance for LGBTQ people.
She also joined Heather Dubrow as a presenter at the 35th GLAAD Media Awards, celebrating the achievements of LGBTQ talent in media.
