Launched today, “American Dreams” is a partnership between GLAAD and the Ad Council’s Love Has No Labels to that shines a light on the everyday discrimination faced by LGBTQ+ people, with a focus on three fundamental human desires: a place to call home, the freedom to live in safety, and the opportunity to work for a better life.
In addition to being featured on Good Morning America, three videos were released today to help bolster the Love Has No Labels mission and each were specifically sculpted to expose the harsh realities of queer discrimination faced by LGBTQ and to strike a chord with humanity and “our American dreams”.

The Ad Council launched Love Has No Labels in March 2015. It mission is to champion our shared values and take on bias, hate and discrimination through a lens of shared humanity.
Inequality and hatred continue to threaten LGBTQ+ people across the country, increasing their risk of housing and employment discrimination, as well as threats of violence. Despite these ongoing disparities, many people remain unaware of the present-day threats faced by LGBTQ+ communities. “American Dreams” highlights the aspirations and lives of diverse individuals, contrasting them with the reality of discrimination LGBTQ+ people endure.
