1.) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is coming to Disney+ on February 1! Marvel’s hit sequel to 2018’s Black Panther picks up after the death of King T’Challa, as Wakanda defends itself from forces that seek to strike in a moment of transition. Be sure to watch out for a queer romantic moment between Aneka (Michaela Coel) and Ayo (Florence Kasumba)!

2.) Netflix has given Outer Banks fans a first-look at season three with a teaser trailer and newly released images! The YA drama series returns to ‘Poguelandia’ with our core group of friends— including pansexual actress Madison Bailey as Kiara— caught up in yet another race for treasure. Check out the teaser below and catch the season three premiere February 23!
3.) Hulu has introduced History of the World, Part II, the upcoming sequel to the Mel Brooks 1981 classic History of the Word: Part I, set to premiere this spring! Starring lesbian comedian Wanda Sykes alongside Brooks, Nick Kroll, and Ike Barinholtz, each episode features a variety of sketches that guide viewers through different periods of human history. 4.) As filming for the highly-anticipated sophomore season of Heartstopper comes to a close, Netflix has shared a previously unreleased deleted scene from the first season! In the clip, sparks fly between Elle (trans actress Yasmin Finney) and Tao (William Gao) during a sleepover with Charlie and Isaac; watch it below. Hang tight for more information on season two, which will introduce a phelora new queer talent, including trans actress and Tik Tok star Bel Priestley, and trans actor Ash Self!
5.) Peacock has revealed an official trailer for The Traitors, a competition reality series hosted by out Vito Russo Award-winning actor and activist Alan Cumming. The show’s premise consists of twenty participants, known as “the faithful”, living in a castle and completing challenges in the hopes of winning a cash prize. The catch? Three of the participants are actually “the traitors”, devising a plan to steal the money for themselves! Find the trailer below and watch The Traitors on January 12.
6.) MTV has set the release date and released a teaser trailer for its new reality docuseries The Real Friends of WeHo! The series follows the lives of West Hollywood’s most influential and successful LGBTQ elites: singer and choreographer Todrick Hall, celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, CEO Dorión Renaud, TV host Jaymes Vaughan, digital entrepreneur Joey Zauzig, and actor Curtis Hamilton. 7.) Recently released first-look images of Yellowjackets season two reveals Lauren Ambrose as the adult version of Vanessa “Van” Palmer; check them out below. The incredibly queer award-winning series is a survival epic, psychological horror story, and coming-of-age drama all rolled into one. Don’t miss Yellowjackets return to Showtime on March 26!
8.) Saturday Night Live has announced the first two hosts of the new year: out The White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza and Michael B. Jordan, respectively. Watch Plaza’s hosting debut on January 21, with GLAAD Media Award-winning artist Sam Smith returning as a musical guest for the third time ahead of the release of their new album Gloria!
9.) The Flash’s ninth and final season will bring back some familiar faces, reuniting out actor Keiynan Lonsdale (Wally West/Kid Flash) with David Ramsey (John Diggle aka Spartan) and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork) as guest stars in episode 909. Watch the shows final run February 8 on The CW! In other TV news, Paramount has announced a summer 2023 return of the second half of Yellowstone’s fifth season. 10.) ‘Queen of Drag’ RuPaul Charles has released a brand-new album entitled Black Butta, just in time for the premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 tonight; stream the album here!
