10/25/22 – Tune in as Courtney and Dr. Moore discuss Dr. Moore’s work (which includes overseeing 8 public health centers throughout the county that specialize in HIV prevention, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis, and refugee health) and the current state of the monkeypox virus (MPV) outbreak in the United States. 10/11/22 – Tune in as Rashad and Kyle discuss Rashad’s art (vivid and captivating works reflective of the complexities of the human experience), as well as their work as a graphic designer and creative director. Muhammad’s works primarily explore the intersections of culture, ethnicity, spirituality, identity, emotions, and nature through collage. The two will also touch on how Rashad’s work celebrates the vastness of the human spirit, reinforcing notions of authenticity, self-love, and connection, while addressing steroetypes and misconceptions relating to people of color and queer people.

In addition to producing numerous live art works and performances, jaamil has also held numerous fellowships, and their creative process draws from Black study and queer theories of the body, weaving together visual performance, lecture, ritual, and spritual practice.
