Netflix’s Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is back with an all new season! In it, the arrival of Kenji’s father, Mr. Kon, renews hope of a rescue for the campers. But as the nefarious plans of Mantah Corp. come into focus and one of the Camp Fam turns on their own, the others must band together if they want to save the dinosaurs and ever make it home.
With all this going on, Yaz, voiced by Kausar Mohammed, knows that there’s no better time than now to let Sammy, voiced by Raini Rodriguez, know how she truly feels about her.
The friendship between Yaz and Sammy began in rocky territory, with Yaz’s loner nature creating walls that the overly gregarious Sammy couldn’t help but to try to break through. However, over the course of five seasons, their opposites-attract friendship has steadily grown and evolved into something more. Now, in the final episodes of the series Yaz finally finds the confidence to tell Sammy how she’s feeling — but under the constant threat of dinosaurs, things don’t always go according to plan.
In this all new clip from Season 5, the moment she’s been waiting for finally strikes. Watch the clip here:
Yaz starts to explain to Sammy that she’s been trying to tell her something all day but was waiting for the perfect moment when “there are no perfect moments.”
“I can’t wait another minute to tell you how I feel! It has to be now!” Yaz finally says.
“What has to be now?” Sammy asks.
She finally builds up the courage to say, “I like you! Like a lot. Like a lot, a lot.” She looks up to see Sammy’s terrified reaction.
A giant blue dinosaur creeps up behind her as Sammy cries, “Look out!”
