    GLAAD Down South

    The 1st annual GLAAD Down South media event celebrating the impact of Black LGBTQ and HIV storytelling in local news outlets across the South. 

    After a successful inaugural launch in 2024, GLAAD Down South returns to MODEx Studio in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead community. Atlanta media professionals, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and influencers will gather to witness the growing quantity and quality of Southern LGBTQ and HIV representation in media led by Darian Aaron, GLAAD’s Director of Local News: U.S. South.
