Meredith Marks has always been a strong advocate for GLAAD and the LGBTQ community as a whole. As the Sundance Film Festival engulfed Park City last weekend, on January 21st, Meredith Marks from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Meredith Marks warmly welcomed GLAAD into her boutique located at the heart of Sundance’s Main Street.

Walker, Alex Blue Davis (Grey’s Anatomy), Dino-Ray Ramos (GLAAD), Alok Vaid-Menon (ALOK), Carl Radke (TV Personality, Summer House), Cobbie Yates (Costume Designer), Chris Colfer (Actor), Darkwah Kyei-Darkwah (Artist), Dylan Mulvaney (Influencer), Florido Basallo (Celebrity Hairstylist), Joel Kim Booster (Actor, Chrissy & Dave Dine Out) and more.
Marks honored GLAAD and the relentless efforts in promoting acceptance for the LGBTQ community. Marks has been deeply involved with GLAAD, having served on the Host Committee for the GLAAD Media Awards and organizing various fundraisers and special collaborations to support the organization.
As previously stated, Marks is a longtime ally of GLAAD, consistently lending support to uplift the LGBTQ community’s voices in various impactful ways. In a recent interview, Marks joined GLAAD’s Anthony Allen Ramos to discuss her work on and off camera. On a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, fans got to see Meredith, her husband Seth, and her son Brooks attending the 34th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in LA. “The GLAAD Awards is a very special night,” Marks began. She spoke about how important representation in the media and entertainment worlds are since it “helps shape the way society views everything. And perception is everything. If we can get people to have a better level of understanding, there’s more acceptance.”
In 2022, Marks curated a photoshoot to spotlight and support GLAAD’s mission to accelerate acceptance for the LGBTQ community. The campaign featured members of the LGBTQ community and allies including fashion designer August Getty, Miss Utah Rachel Slawson, influencer Joey Zauzig, artist Nikki Exotika, performer CT Hedden, Jheda, and GLAAD’s Anthony Allen Ramos. Marks also created a limited edition t-shirt that reads: “I’m Engaging with LGBTQ Rights.” All proceeds from the shirt were donated to GLAAD.
