—Referred to the Obama administration’s gender-inclusive bathroom guidance as “President Obama’s far-too-huge overreach … in requiring 12-year-old girls to see penises in their locker rooms.”
—Insists both marriage equality and transgender people are “untrue”: “Those who support same-sex marriage (and oppose God) seem genuinely unaware that many who opposed redefining marriage legally did so because of a belief that one of the worst ways to love another person is to give them things that are untrue. But we don’t care much about what reality actually is as a culture. We’ve instead embraced things that merely tell us what we want to hear…. As the world celebrated the ‘transition’ of Bruce Jenner into Caitlyn, another disconnect from reality emerged. Though one’s DNA, biology, and cellular identity will forever be determined as the sex God gave them at birth, the belief that embracing the opposite is what is needed for them to feel fulfilled is championed by our emotional, boastful culture. No matter how perverse the disconnect is, a progressive culture will never criticize it, never limit it, never explain that restraint might be healthier.”
—Responded to this very GLAAD profile by claiming: “I don’t believe that you can be gay. I believe that people engage in homosexual behavior, and I believe that homosexual behaviors can end up killing you, and I think that homosexual behaviors when acted upon in the teenage years greatly increases the likelihood if you’re male that you will try to commit suicide.”
—Claimed self-accepting gay people hate God: “One thing that is absolutely true is that people that live active and activist homosexual lifestyles absolutely, rigidly hate the God of Scripture. There is no doubt about that, they absolutely do. People that struggle with it and try to work it out, they’re in a different category. But the people that are activists about it, they despise the God of the Bible and there is nothing short of that that can be understood.”
—Called President Obama “a man who represents the views of Satan at worst or progressive anti-God liberals at best.”
—Said gay couples both “despise” marriage and are “seeking to destroy” it.
—Said Democrats’ choice to appear on the Logo network constituted “pandering to perverts.”
—Said his inclusion on this very site constitutes being “targeted by the Enemy, and I mean the Evil One,” (0:03) before claiming GLAAD wants him dead. (1:03)
—Said (at 3:12) that President Obama “cares far more about who you get to sleep with than he does about bringing equality to the color of people’s skin.” Goes on to say (at 4:10) that “it’s just a matter of time” before the President sends people to investigate what’s being preached in churches.
—Suggested same-sex marriages will lead to men marrying puppies, trees, fence posts, and dump trucks. (at 6:00)
The GLAAD Accountability Project catalogs anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and discriminatory actions of politicians, commentators, organization heads, religious leaders, and legal figures, who have used their platforms, influence and power to spread misinformation and harm LGBTQ people.
