“Welcome to Chippendales” is an all new true-crime saga that tells the story of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s greatest male-stripping empire—and let nothing stand in his way in the process.
With a new episode premiering on Hulu each week, fans can expect outrageous scenarios and fascinating truths about how Chippendales came to be.
In this exclusive clip, audiences get a sneak peek into what’s in store for choreographer and Banerjee’s business partner Nick De Noia, played by Murray Bartlett.
In the scene, De Noia is seen talking to his boyfriend played by Andrew Rannells in front of a Chippendales bus. Before he can kiss his boyfriend goodbye, his girlfriend Denise, played by Juliette Lewis appears. Denise seems to be unaware of the men’s relationship as she begrudgingly gets on the bus.
Andrew Rannells’ character tells Nick “That’s gotta stop,” and “you’ve got to draw a line” in regard to his relationship with Denise. Nick agrees but can’t help that they still “love each other.”
Rannells’ character asks Nick to stay with him instead of getting on the Chippendales bus, to which Nick declines. “The last thing I want to do is make you choose between us,” he says to Nick before they share a kiss.
“Welcome to Chippendales” premiered on Hulu on November 22nd, with two episodes, followed by one new episode rolling out weekly on Tuesdays.
