The Family Karma crew is about to get a little bit bigger! From the GLAAD Media Award winning Bravo series, Amrit Kapai and Nicholas Kouchoukos announced on Instagram today that they are expecting their first child!

“Family of 4 coming soon,” they revealed this morning in an adorable photo with their dog Theodore in a “big brother” bandana.
The couple, who got married in 2022 on Family Karma, told People Magazine, “We were elated when we found out that our surrogate is pregnant.” People reports their baby is due in November via surrogate.
“It was so surreal to hear the news we had been anticipating for so long. Each of us has wanted to be a father as long as we both can remember. Knowing our dream is coming to life puts an ear-to-ear grin on our faces,” they told People.

Kapai and Kouchoukos starred in the Bravo reality series Family Karma for 3 seasons, providing groundbreaking LGBTQ representation as an interracial couple with the unconditional support of Kapai’s traditional family.
The series concluded with the couple tying the knot with an extravagant Indian style wedding with their closest friends and family. At the end of the show, they revealed that they hoped to start a family of their own soon. Watch them talk with GLAAD about the wedding here:
