Saturday, September 7th, was a night to remember in Las Vegas! Spiegelworld and Caesars Entertainment hosted a dusk-to-dawn party to celebrate the premiere of DISCOSHOW as well as its accompanying new restaurant Diner Ross.
DISCOSHOW will feature RuPaul’s Drag Race and We’re Here star Eureka O’Hara in the role of Mother which she will share with fellow Drag Race alum Coco Montrese and Tamisha Iman.
DISCOSHOW is a multi-layered nightworld, featuring a 70-minute entertainment experience that will put the audience in the center of a disco celebration, wrapped in pulsing action and infectious music, and on their feet.
Transporting guests to nineteen-seventy-fine, DISCOSHOW includes two richly detailed, playful bars, a restaurant, and an innovative show that put guests in the center of a disco celebration. The premiere party took guests on a one of a kind adventure through downtown New York City.
Guests who could make it to 4:00am were rewarded with pancakes for breakfast in Diner Ross, handmade by party chief Ross Mollison.
Spiegelworld’s Impresario Extraordinaire Ross Mollison said on Saturday, “This is the beginning of a Las Vegas party that will not only go all night long tonight, but for years to come. In fact, it started in 1970, and we all simply fell in love with the idea of keeping it going. It’s disco. After years of development, months of construction, weeks of rehearsals and previews, and many hours of kitchen and cocktail tastings, we are ready to share our love of disco with everybody. It’s what we all need right now.”
In addition to the Eureka, Coco Montrese, and Tamisha Iman, the DISCOSHOW team is jam packed with talent. The show is led by director Steven Hoggett and choreographer/associate director Yasmine Lee. The show was written by Olivier Award-winner Michael Wynne, with set and costume design by Tony Award-winner David Zinn, music production by Jamie Siegel, lighting design by Olivier Award-winner Natasha Chivers, sound design by Colle Bustin, custom soundscapes by sound associate and Olivier Award-winner Tom Gibbons, projection & video design by Darrel Maloney, and hair and wig design by Brittany Hartman.
