On July 1, the new series Say I Do premiered on Netflix, which follows three LGBTQ lifestyle experts who help make dream, surprise weddings come true. Check out the full trailer below:
This week, Anthony Ramos, GLAAD’s Head of Talent, spoke with chef Gabriele Bertaccini, who is one of the experts featured in the series. In his first interview since publicly disclosing his HIV status in the show’s first episode, Chef Gabe opens up with GLAAD about his road to self-acceptance and why positive representation for people living and thriving with HIV is so important. He also speaks about feeling inspired by “Queer Eye’s” Jonathan Van Ness who revealed that he was living with HIV in 2019.
