This September, Atlanta will host Haus of Move Camp—a 3-day immersive sync songwriting and music industry development experience designed for Black and Brown trans and queer artists, songwriters, and producers. Taking place September 26–28, the camp is a program of the 2AM Ricky M.O.V.E. (Mobilizing Opportunities for Visibility and Empowerment) Initiative and powered by Blaze Unlimited, a leading creative agency in sync licensing and music supervision.
Only 25 in-person participants will be selected for the program, ensuring an intimate and high-quality environment where creativity, professional growth, and wellness go hand-in-hand. Applications close August 27.

Beyond Music: The M.O.V.E. Initiative’s Vision
The M.O.V.E. Initiative, founded by award-winning artist, songwriter, activist, and Black trans man 2AM Ricky, mobilizes resources and stakeholders to amplify BIPOC trans and queer artists, creators, and entertainment professionals—while advancing reproductive justice and wellness.
This work addresses systemic barriers by using media and entertainment as platforms for advocacy, challenging harmful narratives, and ensuring that historically excluded voices have the resources, skills, and access to shape their futures.
The initiative’s goals include:
Reproductive health and justice for trans and queer people — including IVF and family planning, mental health, abortion access, HIV/AIDS support, and gender-affirming care.
Power building — equipping artists with tools to advocate for just and inclusive reproductive rights and wellness.
Career pathways — providing grants, mentorship, and public platforms to uplift trans and queer artists while tackling social and economic inequalities.

Why This Matters
With reproductive rights under attack and trans and queer communities facing increasing political, social, and economic challenges, the M.O.V.E. Initiative is leveraging the visibility of entertainment to advance equity. By centering Black and Brown LGBTQ+ creatives, Haus of Move Camp becomes a space where artistry fuels advocacy—and where community power is built alongside industry success.
As 2AM Ricky explains, “We can no longer wait for the media to tell our stories right—we must tell them ourselves, and use our platforms to push for the change our communities need.”
Apply here by August 27 for a chance to join Haus of Move Camp and be part of a movement that blends music, community, and justice.
