GLAAD is proud to celebrate the launch of Season 2 of Island Fever, the bold and unapologetic podcast that’s redefining what it means to talk about sex, dating, and relationships in Pasifika communities. Created by and for Pasifika people, Island Fever is where cultural pride meets real talk—and where taboo topics get the spotlight they deserve.
This season kicks off with a LIVE taping on Monday, June 16 at 7PM at WEHO Beaches (8928 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA)—and you’re invited to pull up, show out, and soak in the vibes. The event will feature a very special guest: Kween Kong, the powerhouse performer, activist, and Drag Race Global All Stars queen whose presence promises to elevate the night.
Rooted in Pacific Islander identity and queer joy, Island Fever centers three compelling hosts whose lived experiences fuel every episode with humor, honesty, and heart.
Donato Fatuesi is a dynamic actress, activist, and producer whose work uplifts the voices of trans and Pasifika communities. A proud Fa’afafine and Leiti of Pasifika, Donato brings unmatched depth to the mic. You may recognize her from Moana 2, HBO’s The Stroll, or her starring roles in Passion Mansion and Tales of the Transcestors: The Divine! Beyond performance, Donato is a devoted advocate, serving as Social Media Fembassador for UTOPIA Washington and leading community efforts through Transformations.
