Paramount+ with SHOWTIME has officially announced the premiere date and full cast for Noah’s Arc: The Movie, a new film marking the 20th anniversary of the groundbreaking series.
Noah’s Arc: The Movie premieres Friday, June 20, streaming exclusively for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan, followed by an on-air debut that same evening.
A cultural milestone when it debuted on Logo in 2005, Noah’s Arc was the first series to center the lives of Black gay men with joy, humor, and heart. The show became a lifeline for viewers hungry to see themselves reflected on screen and helped pave the way for more inclusive queer storytelling in mainstream media.
Now, two decades later, the series returns at a time when LGBTQ people—particularly transgender people and communities of color—are facing escalating attacks and harmful rhetoric. The return of Noah’s Arc is more than just a television event; it’s a timely reminder of the importance of representation, chosen family, and celebrating Black queer joy.
Original cast members Darryl Stephens, Rodney Chester, Doug Spearman, Christian Vincent, Jensen Atwood, and Wilson Cruz reprise their iconic roles. They’re joined by an exciting slate of guest stars including Jasmine Guy, TC Carson, Eva Marcille, Ts Madison, Kennedy Davenport, and Dynisty St. James. Series creator Patrik-Ian Polk returns to write, direct, and executive produce.
The new film follows the events of the 2020 reunion special Noah’s Arc: The ‘Rona Chronicles. Noah and Wade are now expecting twins, but when both are offered dream jobs, they must navigate a new reality—one of them stepping into a stay-at-home parental role.
