Fans fell in love with The Buccaneers in late 2023 when the series first dropped on Apple TV+. Taking place in London’s Gilded Age, the series follows a group of fun-loving young American girls as they navigate their new city and all the romance, drama, intrigue and adventure that comes along with it.

Inspired by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edith Wharton’s unfinished novel with the same title, season 2 reunites the Buccaneers Kristine Frøseth as Nan St. George, Alisha Boe as Conchita Closson, Aubri Ibrag as Lizzy Elmsworth, Imogen Waterhouse as Jinny St. George, Mia Threapleton as Honoria Marable, and the iconic Josie Totah returns as Mabel Elmsworth!

Fans everywhere have been anxiously awaiting the return of their favorite sapphic ship Ma-noria. And the wait is almost over!
In a 2023 interview with GLAAD, Totah shared that playing a queer character in this project “means everything to [her]” and that LGBTQ representation is always “at the forefront” for her. She added, “I’m really excited to get to do all different genres and delve into different characters.”
