Frankie Grande is ready to live his dance diva fantasy!
The multi-hyphenate performer, singer, songwriter, actor, and activist has dropped his debut single and an accompanying sexy music video for “Rhythm of Love”. The new single serves as a starting point for Grande’s forthcoming full-length LP set to be released this summer.
Grande co-wrote “Rhythm of Love” with Alex Chapman and NOVDOR, who have both worked with Troye Sivan and Charli XCX, as well as Neil Ormandy, and Molly Irvine. The release of the dance track comes at the perfect time as we are ramping up for Pride.
The music video, directed by Austin Nunes of x2 Production and filmed at The Box in New York City, features special appearances by RuPaul’s Drag Race alums Salina EsTitties and Rosé.
After Republic Records President and Chief Creative Officer Wendy Goldstein heard some of Frankie’s songs, she signed him on the spot.
“I just remember playing the songs for Wendy in the studio and being like, what is happening? I didn’t know I had it in me,” said Grande of the moment he got signed. “I didn’t know it was possible.”
