GLAAD’s groundbreaking digital original series DÍMELO, has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious 2025 Halo Awards in the category of Best Gender & LGBTQ Equality Initiative.
The recognition honors the incredible work that GLAAD — in collaboration with Latination Media — has done to amplify Latine LGBTQ voices in comedy.
The Halo Awards are renowned for recognizing the best in corporate social impact initiatives, and this nomination is a testament to the power of DÍMELO to spark conversation and promote equality through humor and representation. Being named a finalist places DÍMELO among the most impactful initiatives across industries, with the potential to inspire real change.
The series, which focuses on the unique intersection of LGBTQ and Latine experiences, features prominent queer Latinx talent, highlighting their stories and creativity. DÍMELO serves as a vital platform for LGBTQ voices within the Latine community, pushing boundaries and challenging stereotypes in a medium that resonates with audiences.
The final winners, including the gold and silver awards for each category, will be revealed at The Halos gala on April 24, 2025, during the EFG2025 conference in Palm Springs, CA.
